Heh, nonconsensual haircut. In #StarTrekDiscovery, Michael Burnham started wearing long braided hair when she went to 32nd century. I would always joke that she was wearing Programmable Matter extensions. The fact that you can completely change a person’s clothes and even hair in an instant in #StarfleetAcademy is another example of how magical Progammable Matter can be. It’s at least as big of a leap as replicators were in TNG.
